I am a big fan of documenting everday life. I am a scrapbook/memory keeper and have been tryting to adopt the Project Life format into my crafting. One of the memory keeping exercises I enjoy reading are the lists people keep of what they are currently into. Be it a list of a items of a single category or a list of variety categories. I will be sharing my "Currently" lists with you here. And currently I've been drinking a lot of boba tea (or bubble tea).

I’ve been addicted to boba tea since my sisters, Lisa and Suzy, each visited me this spring. We had as much boba we could fit into our schedules. I discovered I like brown sugar and caramel. I prefer the honey pearls. Cold and sweet is how I like it.

I live across the street from a SincereTea shop and have been stopping in now and then while on my walks with Kiwi. The shop is dog friendly and the staff are very nice. The list below are my current favorite shops here in San Jose/San Francisco and the drinks I am currently drinking:

  1. SincereTea: Brown Sugar Milk Tea (pictured)
  2. Pekoe Tea: Foxy Brown
  3. Caffé Central:  Caramel Milk Tea
  4. Boba Guys, Potero Hill: Dirty Horchata
  5. Sharetea: Honey Milk Tea

Inside the Actor's Studio

In 2009 I was tagged by a friend in a Facebook post to answer a questionaire that asked questions similar to the questions James Lipton would ask on "Inside the Actor's Studio". I thought it would be fun to answer the questions as my present day self and see if any of my answers changed 8 years later.

What is your favorite word?
2009: maniacal
2017: maniacal

What is your least favorite word?
2009: infested
2017: moist (I don't know why I did not use this word in 2009 other than I was probably trying to avoid typing the work and hearing it in my mind, it's so gross)

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
2009: Music and anything mid century vintage
2017: Music and going through old pictures

What turns you off creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
2009: rude manners
2017: rude manners, liars, and anyone or anything that makes me feel bad about myself

What sound or noise do you love?
2009: loons on the water in Maine or doves cooing
2017: The excited whimper  that my dog makes when she knows we are going for a walk, she sounds like a monkey. (It is also paired with a puppy tap dance)

What sound or noise do you hate?
2009: my sister's voice when she gets all bratty. Yes at 25, she is still the biggest brat
2017: nail clipping in the office environment and nasally fake voices

What is your favorite curse word?
2009: Son of a......
2017: Son of a......

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
2009: Crash test dummy...lol just kidding...any job where I get free stuff all the time
2017: Photographer/Artist

What profession would you not like to do?
2009: Doctor or nurse. God bless em all. I do not have a stomach for it.
2017: Doctor, Nurse, or Teacher. I emotionally would not be able to survive in any of these professions. I have the highest respect for these careers, among others.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
2009: "You thought I'd be taller huh? Yeah, I get that a lot..."
2017: "Your dad can't wait to see you!"
